Happy Halloweeeeen!!!

Happy Halloween! Jordy and I were having an organic beer from the beer cart (new and unlicensed) when we got a call to go to a Halloween bar crawl in the NE with our friend Mike. We had 30 minutes to meet him at Coalition Brewery with our costumes. Problem was, we had no costume. We ran to Barely Worn, a thrift shop down the street, and tried on a few things, none of which fit. Jordy was fishing through the racks when he came across two beautiful Dashiki’s, one his size and one mine. Perfect. We paid 7 dollars for both of them and grabbed two necklaces for 5 dollars. 12 bucks and 30 minutes later, we were at Coalition before Mike. We were smart and pre bar crawled, getting to each bar before the other crawlers so we didn’t have to wait in lines. What wasn’t smart was the quantity of beers I slammed trying to keep up with the boys. The beers, mixed with a grilled cheese sandwich that could give The Penguin a fair fight and my night was over. Today Jordan said it's now No vem beer. No beer.

Forest Park

There is an amazing place for us to hike just a few minutes from our house. This spot is called Forest Park and it is the nations largest urban park. When we vacationed in Portland (03/10) we rented bikes and went straight to the park to ride the bikes. In March, I was overwhelmed with the beauty. It was so easy to breath and I had never felt so alive. Jordan has some great videos of me riding the bike in the park. I felt like I was 10 again. So free and happy. It's just as great in October. Which brings me to say that Fall in Portland is wonderful. It is so bright and colorful. This city is littered with trees of all sorts and the leaves are changing and falling right now. Back to Forest Park: Here are some photos from our hike. I love you, Forest Park.
